Hats
Yes, as you perhaps have seen from the picture in my image gallery, I wear a hat. I think people should wear them more. We have been wearing hats for a thousand years or so, and suddenly, sometime in the 70's, we stopped. I have no idea why, but it's our loss, because hats are really practical. During what excuse for summer we have in this country, my panama hat shields my eyes from the sun (I rarely wear sunglasses), and during the rest of the year broad-brimmed hats shield my face and head from wind and weather, of which there is altogether too much.
I am the proud owner of the following hats:
- A fedora. This is what I'm wearing on the aforementioned picture.
- A panama hat. It is white with a black hatband. Is says genuine panama on the inside, but I haven't tried forcing it through a wedding ring, so I don't know if it's true.
- A borsalino. This is an expensive one which I got for Christmas in 1999 as a replacement for one I lost. It screams style, and I wear it only on special occasions.
I collected some hat links as well.
